About Me

I grew up in a home in South Africa that was full of books. After graduating, I became a secondary school English teacher in Cape Town before moving to London where I met my husband. I continued teaching except when my two children were young.

The idea that sparked my novel came to me one insomniac night, and it gradually developed into a psychological thriller about revenge.

I completed an online creative writing course which helped to make the characters in my novel more compelling and infuse the story with tension. The harrowing incident was inspired by reading about rescues of injured hikers on Cape Town's Table Mountain.

When I am not welded to my laptop, I enjoy spending time with my family and reading gripping thrillers.
